Shopimy is a web-based platform built to help social media sellers and small businesses launch focused, customizable online stores without the overhead of a full Shopify subscription. The platform emphasizes simplicity, social integration, and a clean seller-to-buyer experience.
The Challenge
Social media sellers have audience but no infrastructure. They're stuck DMing PayPal links or jerry-rigging storefronts from tools that weren't built for them. The goal was to build something lean, full-featured, and actually usable for that audience.
What Was Built
- Custom storefront builder with live preview (shared components between editor and live store)
- Stripe-integrated checkout with delivery management for physical and digital goods
- JWT-based authentication with user registration, login, and profile management
- Real-time analytics dashboard tracking sales trends, buyer behavior, and KPIs (Chart.js)
- Customer ratings and review system
- Promotions engine supporting percentage and fixed-amount discount codes
- Unique shareable URLs for shops, categories, and individual products
- Mobile-responsive design across all devices
